Teresa Ann Schutz, 64, of Warsaw, Indiana, died at 11:37 am Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home. She was born September 14, 1955 in San Rafael, California to Homer E. and Betty Jean (Cartwright) Ray.
Teresa received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Manchester College. She married Kevin Schutz in Salem, Indiana on December 31, 1977; he died December 27, 2016. She retired from the Department of Family Resources in November 2017 after 28 years. Teresa was a former member of the Salem Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, playing computer games, and especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher (Samantha) Schutz of Warsaw, Indiana, and Matthew (Dominik) Schutz of Ligonier, Indiana, two grandchildren, Julianna Jeffers and Elizabeth Jeffers, both of Warsaw, and her brother, Mark Ray of Warsaw. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Pamela Hagan, and her foster son, Billy Rader.
There will be a Celebration of Teresa’s Life at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester, Indiana.
