Stephen L.Malott, 80, of Bluffton, IN, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at his residence in Bluffton, IN. He was born on Saturday, April 02, 1938, in Muncie, IN. He married Delories “Dee” (Teegarden) Malott on May 10, 1991 in Bluffton, IN. Stephen was a 1956 graduate of Montpelier High School. He was the owner and operator of his own trucking company most of his lifetime, he then drove for Genova Products for many years. Stephen had lived in Bluffton since 1993 prior to living in Converse for 17 years. He formerly attended Montpelier Church of Christ. Stephen enjoyed Racing and was also a member of the Army Reserves. Above all he loved spending time with his family.

Boling, Montpelier, IN, Daughter – Stephanie (David) Herschberger, Peru, IN, Step-Son – Thomas (Diane) Betz, Bluffton, IN, Step Daughter – Ethel Habegger, Bluffton, IN, Step Daughter – Gwen Betz, Anderson, IN, Sister – Nancy (Thomas) Cale, Hartford City, IN,and several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Step Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Father – Roy D. Malott, Mother – Margurite (Fitch) Malott, Step Son- John Betz and Step Daughter – Ruby Eckelbarger.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier, IN. on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service to celebrate his life will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor George Dillman officiating.
