Sondra Crouch

Sondra Crouch, 80, of Marion, passed away at 7:35 am on Monday, February 1, 2021, in her home. She was born in Marion on March 15, 1940, and was raised in Marion by her loving parents, Walter and Peg Collins. On October 22, 1999, she married Albert “Al” Crouch, who survives.

Sondra graduated from Marion High School in 1958 and went on to graduate from Ball State University. She was a secretary for many years with First Federal Bank in Marion and George Osborn, Attorney at Law.

Sondra enjoyed going to the casino with her husband, as well as playing Euchre. She was in a monthly card club with friends she had since high school. Sondra was a beautiful and feisty woman who will be remembered as the best of the best. She meant the world to those in her life, and she will be missed dearly.

In addition to her loving husband, Al, survivors include her daughter, Kim (Stuart) Moses of Marion; sons, Mike (Kathy) Livengood of Anthem, AZ, Albert (Alicia) Crouch, Jr., of Hartford City, Curt (Amy) Crouch of Fort Wayne, John (Stacie) Crouch of Muncie, and Joel (Christy) Padfield of Hendersonville, KY; grandsons, Aaron (Emily), Andrew (Lauren), Payton (Kayla), Conner, Parker, Caleb, and Clayton; granddaughters, Logan, Abigail, Catie, Maddy, Brooke, Lyra, and Makayla; great-granddaughters, Myla, Claire, and Eden; several nieces, nephews, and friends; as well as her special friends whom she loved like a sister and brother, Carolyn (Skip) Mendenhall.

In addition to her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by her twin brother, Ronnie Collins, and her sisters, Pat Deeter and Beckie Johnson.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a memorial service to celebrate Sondra’s life will begin at 3:00 pm with Gary Ashbrooke officiating.
