Brinkman, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for Deluxe, told MiBash News that the emphasis of much of the video production will be on telling the selected business owner’s compelling stories of how and why they are in business. According to Deluxe, the stories from Wabash business owners and the advice Deluxe’s marketing professionals will give will likely help other small town business owners all over the country.

Cam Potts, VP of Public Relations for Deluxe, said in a release that roughly 6 to 10 Wabash businesses will be selected over the course of the series. Wabash Marketplace Project Manager Shelby McLaughlin told MiBash News that a free concert will be held at the Eagles Theatre to welcome Herjavec into town. The event, which starts at 4 pm, will kick off with a performance of Matt Tetter from NBC’s The Voice fame before Brinkman and Herjavec both take to the stage. McLaughlin said that she hopes the event at the Eagles will be a big one and that it will end before 5 pm when June’s First Friday officially begins.

After shooting in June, the team will be back in July and in August to help additional business. Brinkman suggested that she and the whole Deluxe team were excited to spend the summer in Wabash.
