NORTH MANCHESTER,IN On 7/24/16, at approximately 6:46 pm, The Wabash County Sheriff’s Department responded to a personal injury crash on S.R 114, just east of C.R. 300 West.
The preliminary investigation shows that an eastbound vehicle, driven by Caleb N. Marks, age; 28, North Manchester, left the roadway on the south side, and struck a tree. Reports from witnesses suggest that the vehicle was travelling in an excessive rate speed at the time of the crash. After striking the tree, the vehicle caught fire. State Road 114 was closed for approximately 4 hours while emergency personnel and first responders worked at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, Regina Bradley also died as a result of the accident.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.
The investigation is continuing.
