Sharon K. Burrough, 74, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at 7:45 am on Friday, August 12, 2022, in her home surrounded by her children. She was born in Allegan, Michigan, on Sunday, July 25, 1948, to Glenn and Madeline (Root) Gillette. On July 21, 1973, she married Timothy W. Burrough, and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2016.
Sharon was a graduate of Plainwell High School in Plainwell, Michigan. She loved her family and was a homemaker throughout her life. Her hobbies included reading, jigsaw puzzles, and visiting with family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her son, Greg (Kelly) Burrough of Allegan, MI; daughters, Carrie Burrough of Anderson and Billie (Adam) Kane of Ontario, Canada; grandsons, Jeffery Burrough, Russell Burrough, Matthew Burrough, Schyler Kane, Alex Kane, Ethan Kane, and Evan Kane; and brothers, Charles Gillette, Dennis Gillette, and James Gillette.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
At Sharon’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
