Sandra L. Mills, 68, of Gas City, passed away in her home surrounded by her children and family at 3:33 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020. She was born in New Castle, Indiana, on Sunday, February 17, 1952, to Oscar and Charlotte (Cornell) Shoaf.
Sandee was known for her loving personality and sarcastic sense of humor. She loved dancing, playing pool, and her love for Betty Boop! Sandee was a lover of all things but the love she had for her late husband, her kids and family was like nothing anyone has known. She retired from Franklin Electric in 2017 where she made a second work family. She was smiling and cracking jokes up until her final days. She will forever be missed by those who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Mike W. (Kelly) Ritter of Jeromesville, OH; daughters, Valerie (Shawn) Smith, Vicki Mills, Amanda (Dominick) Bowlds all of Gas City; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Wallace and Charlotte Shoaf; husband, Ted Mills; and brother, Greg Shoaf.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Needham Storey Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St. Gas City, IN 46933.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Sandee’s life will begin at 2:00 PM.
