Ronald Eugene “Ron” Rybolt, age 80, of Dayton, passed away on February 18, 2022. He was born in Gas City, Indiana, on March 11, 1941, the son of the late A.C. Rybolt and Mary Apostol.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Clasby, Sue Burgess and Vicki McDonald; and his grandparents, Zelpha and Darrell Rybolt.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Wanda Rybolt; sons, David Rybolt and Randall (Tammy) Rybolt; grandchildren, Ronald, Ryan (Kassie), Brittany, Zachary and Katie; great-grandchildren, Kobe, Kori, Raylynn and Kali; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Ron retired from the United States Air Force, after 25 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and AmVets for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, studying/reading his Bible, journaling and spending time with his family. He was a very devoted family man and was always there for those he loved.
There will be a graveside service with military honors to celebrate Ron’s life at 2 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Knox Cemetery in Point Isabel, IN. Pastor Ray Sweet will officiate.
