Robin Elizabeth Sturgill Stanton, 51, Roann, passed away April 3, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born July 18, 1971, Robin was the daughter of Billy R. and Molly (Brock) Sturgill.
Robin attended Northfield High School and later Ivy Tech Community College. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafting. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. In her final days she enjoyed FaceTiming her grandchildren for hours and loving on her bonus granddaughter, Breckyn Haupert.
The loving memory of Robin Sturgill Stanton will be forever cherished by her daughter, Kali (Khristian) Stanton Schlemmer, Lebanon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kyndel Rae Schlemmer and Kaia Drew Schlemmer; brothers, Billy R. (Rana) Sturgill Jr., Peru, Indiana, Josh Allen, Danny Allen, Dustin Allen, Wabash, Indiana; two sisters, Sonia Poe, Roann, Indiana and Ruth Sturgill, Wabash, Indiana. Robin is preceded in death by her mother, son, Andrew Wayne Barton, and sister, Sandra J. Gagnon.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Bernice Pickering officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns, 1100 Manchester Ave, Wabash, Indiana.
