Robert N. Heiser, 71, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 10:51 AM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Auburn Village in Auburn, IN. He was born on Sunday, March 23, 1947, in Green Bay, WI. He married Gudrun “Trudy” (Schultheiss) Heiser on Wednesday, December 23, 1970 in Bad-Durkheim, Germany. Robert attended school in Denmark, WI. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He formerly attended St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Montpelier, and also St. John’s Catholic Church in Hartford City, IN. Robert was a Silo builder and had traveled to many different states with work. He worked for Hoffman, out of Muscatine, Iowa for 28 years. He was a member of the Millard Brown American Legion Post # 156.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Leo Heiser, and Mother – Helen (Kennedy) Heiser.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 with Father David Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
