Robert Dean Crispen, 91, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Twelve Mile, Indiana, died at 4:23 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Parkview Health Randallia in Fort Wayne. He was born November 30, 1927 in Pulaski County, Indiana to Albert “Lee” and Edith “Pearl” (Day) Crispen.
Robert married Patricia Hutchison in Macy, Indiana on October 19, 1957. He was a US Army veteran. Robert worked and retired from Sealed Power in Rochester, and was a long-time farmer. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and caring for his fruit trees.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Crispen of Wabash, five children; Jayne (Don) Arnett of Louisville, Georgia, Craig (Audra) Crispen of Guntersville, Alabama, Brenda (Greg) Samuels of Logansport, Indiana, Elaina (Greg) Ellinger of Roann, Indiana, and Lee Crispen of Denver, Indiana, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and three sisters.
Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 am, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana, with Pastor Robert Engle officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
