Robert (Bob) Stephenson, age 65, of Marion, Indiana was unexpectedly taken too soon on Tuesday, April 19th 2022. Son of Herschel and Esther Stephenson, Bob was born June 3rd 1956, who proceeds in his death, as well as his great-granddaughter, Addilynn.
On June 22nd Bob married Bonnie Compo, who together they spent the last 39 years loving and who survives him. Together they raised their four children: Tom (Tina) Cannon of Syracuse, Indiana, Sherri (Nick) Gray of Smyrna, Tennessee, John (Leah) Cannon of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Darlene Stephenson of Gas City, Indiana; his brother David Stephenson and sister Marlene Smith; 12 grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley), Kyle (Justice), Olivia (Jake), Myah, Cassidy (Josh), Emily (Xavier), Dylan, Haley (John), Rylee, Gregory, Kaysie, and Payton; and three great-grandchildren, Ella, Oaklee and Elijah.
Bob retired March 12th 2021 to enjoy spending time with his growing family, riding his motorcycle, working in the garage, spending time with his wife at the casino, and playing cards with friends. Bob, a man who was always there for everyone, never knowing a stranger, and will forever be missed.
Please celebrate Bob’s life with us on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, in Marion, Indiana. There will be no burial services, a cremation is to follow.
