WABASH,Indiana – The City of Wabash Fire Department responded to a fire at the Real Alloy plant in Wabash at approximately 2:15 Thursday afternoon. Plant Manager Dave McKee told MiBash News that there were no injuries and the small fire was not the result of an explosion.
The fire broke out in the shredder area of the yard and caused relatively minor damage. Dave McKee.
Beyond the fact that there were no injuries, McKee stressed that there is no disruption to the Real Alloy’s’ customers. McKee could also not give an estimate of the amount of the damages, calling the internal investigation preliminary. He did say, however, that things look promising because there doesn’t appear to be extensive damage. MiBash News will update readers when more information becomes available.
