Randy L. Gross, 63 of Lagro, passed to his Heavenly Home on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne following a brief illness.
He was born on February 22, 1955 to Paul Edward and Shirley Jean (Bruce) Gross in Peru Indiana. Randy attended North Miami High School. He worked at Ford Meter Box. He later drove a semi for Huntington Fuel Terminal.
He is survived by his son, Jarid Gross, and a daughter, Karalea Gross. He had one granddaughter, Alisyn; and a brother, Jeff (Mary) Gross. Also, nieces and nephews: Troy (Jackie) Long, Autumn (Deryll) Teague, Nicole Knight, and Sarah (Clayton) Shearer. Also, 9 great nieces and nephews.
Randy enjoyed the outdoors working in his vegetable garden and woodworking. He enjoyed DJ work and karaoke he loved his music, as well as visiting with family and friends. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lewis and Vera Bruce, Jesse and Ila Gross, parents Paul and Shirley Gross, and a sister Debbie Long.
Visitation with family will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru Indiana from 11am – 2pm. A funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Phil Cruea officiating.
