WABASH,IN Wabash City Police are reminding all motorists that Wabash City Schools start August 10, 2016. Wabash City Police are urging motorists to be extra cautious due to the increase of children walking, riding bicycles, and waiting at bus stops. Wabash City School times are approximately 8:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. There are numerous bus stops throughout the city and drivers are reminded to be alert for stopped buses. Failure to stop for a school bus that has its lights activated and bus arm activated could result in a citation or even worse an injured child. The Wabash City Police always urges caution when driving, but especially when a large number of children will be traveling to and from schools. Let’s all work together and keep the area children safe.
