Phyllis Ann Coppock

Phyllis Ann Coppock, 80, of rural Peru, Indiana, died at 3:42 am, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her home. She was born August 1, 1939 in Richvalley, Indiana to Raymond and Pauline (Paullus) Thompson.

Phyllis was a 1957 graduate of Noble High School. She was affiliated with the New Hope Revival in Smith Station, Alabama. Phyllis was a homemaker, and enjoyed flowers, cooking, was a prayer warrior, and especially loved her family.

She has four children, Gina Patton of Plano, Texas, Lisa Mullinax of Kokomo, Indiana, Todd Patton of Peru, and Elisheba (Paul) Shields of Converse, Indiana, 14 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, 2 brothers, John (Susan) Thompson of Palm Harbor, Florida, and Patrick (Karen) Thompson of Portsmouth, Virginia, and her sister, Rebecca (Bernard) Summers of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Thompson, and sister, Mary Lou Diefenbaugh.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Jeremiah Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11 am Thursday, at the funeral home.
