PERU, Ind. – Voting for the Peru Police Department is going on now through November 7th for the 2017 Aftermath K9 Grant which will award a total of $15,000 in grants to five departments and their existing or prospective K9 programs for maintenance, safety equipment, or officer training. Officers and community members nominate and vote for local departments; the top five departments with the most votes will be awarded grants. To vote, visit aftermath.com, select the Peru Police Department, fill out your information, then click submit. The Aftermath K9 Grant was founded to showcase, support, and reward the unique contributions made by law enforcement and their K9 units across the country. Indirectly, the K9 grant raises safety awareness and community kinship throughout the neighborhoods that Aftermath and our law enforcement partners proudly serve.
