PERU,Indiana — Peru Police Chief Mike Meeks and Peru Mayor Gabriel Greer joined wrecking crews and the man who bought the old Riviera Trailer Park in the destruction of two old dilapidated trailers which were once meth labs. Wabash-resident Ed Combs purchased the property off South Broadway and Riverside Drive. The trailer park has been in a run-down state for several years and Combs thought it would be a good place for local storage units. He has been working with the City of Peru to acquire the site and build the storage units. After all the trouble at the location Combs thought it would be a good time to have the mayor and police chief aid in the destruction of the former meth labs…..as it turns out a good time was had by all as the demolition begins. It’s been reported members of the CLEAN team were also in attendance.
