Pepper Danielle Carter, 41, Marion, passed away at 7:50 am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, February 4, 1981, to Chancey and Jackie (Shugart) Cutler. On April 8, 2008, she married Adam Carter, and he survives.
Pepper graduated from Marion High School and was a homemaker, who beautifully served her husband and family. Pepper’s biggest love were her kids and family. She liked coloring, artwork, and reading her Kindle. She also loved cooking and baking, especially her pineapple upside down cake.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Carter of Marion; mother, Jackie Cutler of Marion; daughter, Crystal Cutler; son, Preston Carter; brothers, Christopher Cutler and Jonathan and his wife, Tasha Cutler and; sister, Audrina Barto; uncles and aunts, David and Sandra Cutler, Rick and Rebecca Shugart, Melony and Caroline Shugart; cousins, Ashleigh Leal, Troy Parish, Aaron Parish, Jeff Slater, Ricky, Craig, Jennifer, Melissa, Charity and Josh Shugart; nephew, Cody Cutler; nieces, Brooklynne Cutler, Hailey Adkins, Chelsie French, and Jaylynn Newman; and 11 plus other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Chancey Eugene Cutler; sister, Lisa Hill; father-in-law Michael Carter and mother-in-law, Sarah E. Carter.
The family will receive visitors from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN.
