Pauline Foard

Pauline Foard, of Marion, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was born in Covington, Tennessee on May 20, 1934 to the late Willie Hill and Ester Lee Farrow.

She retired from Gen Corp after 35 years of service.  After retirement, she worked as an in-home companion.  She loved people, loved to fish, her conventions, traveling, gardening and caring for her family. 

Pauline was President of the North Eastern District Ministers and Deacon Wives.   She was a current member of Calvary Baptist Church where she held many different positions.   Pauline was also a former First Lady of Friendship Baptist Church and was a former member of the Eastern Star.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving sister, Florida Eaton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a loving daughter. Patricia (William) Davis of Virginia Beach, Virginia; brother in-law, Wilethon Boyce of Marion, Indiana; her In-laws, Mary Rogers of Dallas, Texas, Malachi (Marilyn) Foard of Phoenix, Arizona, Reverend Shellie (Seretha) Foard of Anderson, Indiana, Rebecca Logan of Tupelo, Mississippi, Mary Cannon of Prairie, Mississippi, Jerome (Linda) Foard of Prairie, Mississippi, and Ruby Foard, Marion, Indiana.  She also leaves to cherish, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Reverend Roy L Foard; her sister, Katherine Boyce; and a son, Roy Lee Foard Jr.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. 

Visitation will also take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in the funeral home. Homegoing Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Al Curtis Green officiating. 

Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Due to the Governor’s continued COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required at the funeral home and the church and social distancing is suggested.
