Patsy Reve “Pat” Johnson, 92, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:10 am, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1930, in Laketon, Indiana, to Edward E. and Nondas Leone (Gray) Yarian.
Pat was a 1948 graduate of Roann High School. She co-owned the Curb-A-Teria in Wabash 27 years, and was also the office manager at the Wabash County YMCA. Pat was a member of Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, and a volunteer usher at the Honeywell Center Ford Theater. She enjoyed bird watching, her cat Jody, and especially being with family.
She is survived by her son, James (Christy) Johnson of Wabash; five grandchildren, Stephen Johnson of North Manchester, Indiana, Aaron (Heather) Johnson of Urbana, Indiana, Jacy Johnson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Amanda (Evan) Glanz of Hebron, Indiana, and Devon Webb of Wabash; four great-grandchildren, Sydney Johnson and Weston Johnson, both of Urbana, Brycen Webb of Wabash, and Eli Glanz of Hebron. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary Johnson, brother, Edward G. Yarian, and sister, Novelle Yarian.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Stokes officiating. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 pm Monday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Bachelor Creek Church of Christ.
