Patricia M. Jennings, 96, of Decatur, AL, formerly of Marion, passed away at 8:48 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Morningside Assisted Living of Decatur. She was born in Logansport, Indiana, on Saturday, March 26, 1927, to Marvin and Clara (Adams) Heck. She married Morris E. Jennings, and he survives.
Patricia graduated from Rock Creek High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion for several years. She volunteered and served in various church groups throughout her life.
In addition to her loving husband, Morris E. Jennings, Patricia is survived by her sons, Philip L. (Donna) Jennings of Huntsville, AL and John “Mike” M. (Linda) Jennings of Indianapolis; grandson, Lee (Jackie) Jennings of New Market, AL; granddaughter, Sarah (Bryson) Raney of Indianapolis; great-grandsons, Peyton Jennings of Huntsville, AL, Logan Ray Jennings of Huntsville, AL and Carter Raney of Indianapolis; and great-granddaughter, Abigayle Raney of Indianapolis.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Marvin A. Heck; mother, Clara M. Heck; and sister, Delores (Dick) Cotner.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Patricia’s life will take place at 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Mt. Etna Cemetery, 9 W. 600 S., Warren, IN 46792, with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
