Patricia Lou Wayman, 88, Greenwood, passed away in her home at 4:35 pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, October 24, 1934, to Ashby and Ruby (Snedegar) Crouch. On November 1, 1953, she married Paul Wayman who preceded her.
Patricia graduated from Marion High School. She dedicated her life to taking care of others. She raised her family at home and took care of elderly people in need of care. She enjoyed cooking and loved to serve her family especially during the holidays,
Survivors include her sons, Daniel (Angela) Wayman of Greenwood, Mark Wayman of Noblesville; daughter, Pamela (Terry) Gallaway of Noblesville; grandchildren, Mary Wayman of Greenwood, Tabotha Wayman, Angela (Keith) Williams, Josh Ryan, Joel Wayman, Amaris (Justin) Miller, Ashley (Logan) Stafford, Anna Gallaway; great-grandsons, Kenneth, Daniel, Odin; great-granddaughters, Audrina and Leya; sister-in-law, Majorie Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was also preceded by her brothers, Bill Crouch, Brooks Crouch, Orville “Scott” Crouch, and Kenneth Crouch; and daughter-in-law, Marlys Wayman.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 5909 S. Jay St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Patricia’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeremy Snodgrass officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
