Patricia J. Wohlford, 62, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at her residence after battling Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonia since 2015. She was born to Raymond and Edna (Stoner) White on February 21, 1961, in Portland, Indiana.
Patricia was a 1979 graduate of Jay County High School. She married Michael D. Wohlford on February 24, 1979. She worked and retired from Kroger’s in Wabash, Indiana. Patricia helped pastor at the United Pentecostal Church in Wabash with her husband. She had since been attending Westside Apostolic Church in Rochester, Indiana. Patricia was a teacher of various ages in the church, director of music and worship, the pianist, and also served on the board of trustees. She was a member of the United Food Commercial Workers.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Michael D. Wohlford of Wabash, Indiana; one son, Michael W. Wohlford of Wabash, Indiana; one daughter, Celestia R. Wohlford of Wabash, Indiana; her mother, Edna White of Redkey, Indiana; one brother, Tim White of Redkey, Indiana; two sisters, Cindy Hinds of Connecticut and Susie Campell of Tullahoma, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her father.
