Parkview Wabash Hospital Progress Notes – February 20, 2017

2 17

Construction at the Parkview Wabash replacement facility has been robust. The mild weather has made it possible to stay on schedule.

Concrete floor slabs have been poured on the west side of the new facility for what will be the hospital’s emergency department and ambulance entrance. Steel erection has been moving to the west into what will be surgery, then radiology and finally the emergency department. The plastic sheeting has been hung in the southeast corner so that brick can begin being laid on the walls.

Second floor steel is also going up based on the positioning of the crane. The crane has moved around to the front of the building beginning what will be the front entrance and main lobby.

The structural steel is scheduled to be complete March 1.
