Norman D. McCollum, 76, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 3:51 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 due to a tree falling on his truck as he was traveling down West Line St. in Geneva. He was born on July 19, 1941 in Decatur, IN. Norman graduated from Geneva High School. He formerly worked for 39 years at Decatur Casting. He enjoyed fishing and tractors.
Loving survivors include: Son – Brian McCollum, Berne, IN, Daughter – Karla “Kim” (Steven) Reed, Linngrove, IN, Grandchild – Michael (Significant other, Natasha Hurley) Lautzenheiser, Decatur, IN, Gr. Grandchild – Mason Lautzenheiser, Step Grandson – Caleb Holtrey, Bryan, OH, Step Grandson – Logan Holtrey, Decatur, IN, Step Gr. Granddaughters – Ambelina Holtrey, Delilah Holtrey, Anika Holtrey and Brother – Ronald McCollum, Geneva, IN.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – James McCollum, Mother – Lela Isca (Pace) McCollum, Wife – Carol (Foreman) McCollum, who passed away in 1977 and Brother – Arthur McCollum.

A service to celebrate Norman’s life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 13, 2018 with Pastor David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in rural Berne.
