Nathaniel “Nate” David Foster, 33, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 4:27 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kosciusko County, Indiana. He was born on March 5, 1990, to Clarissa (Beck) Shipley and David Foster in Breman, Indiana.
Nate was a 2009 graduate of Goshen High School. He married Jessica M. Bitzell on July 16, 2022. Nate worked as a Team Leader at Smart Cabinetry in Milford, Indiana. He enjoyed gaming, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and family.
Nate is survived by his wife, Jessica Foster of Wabash, Indiana; two daughters, Mya Foster and Willow Foster; one stepdaughter, Avery Blessing; one stepson, Henry Bitzell; his mother, Clarissa (Randy) Shipley of Goshen, Indiana; his father, David Foster of Oregon; one brother, Joel (Dainelle) Shipley of Nappanee, Indiana; one step brother, Kris (Michelle) Shipley of Warsaw, Indiana; paternal grandparents, Bob (Teresa) Deveau of Goshen, Indiana; maternal grandparents, Ervin (Phyllis) Beck of Goshen, Indiana; mother in law, Lori (Dave) Harrell of LaFontaine, Indiana; father in law, Michael Bitzell of LaFontaine, Indiana.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Fernando and Judy Marroquin officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials can be directed to Nate’s wife to be placed in a trust for the benefit of his surviving children in care of McDonald Funeral Home.
