WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – The Wabash County Historical Museum is excited to announce our first annual golf outing which will serve as a kickoff for our 2017 annual fundraising campaign. The event will be held at the Honeywell Public Golf Course on Wednesday, August 23rd with lunch starting at Noon and a tee time of 1pm.

“The Museum has a lot of great supporters and this event will allow them to come together to learn more about the work at the Museum while enjoying a great day at the beautiful Honeywell Golf Course,” said Mitch Figert, Executive Director for the Museum.

There are still several opportunities to join in on this event including registering as a team or individual player or serving as a sponsor. Registration for a team of four is $250 and individual registrations are $75, all of which include lunch, 18 holes of golf, and use of a golf cart. All funds collected during the golf outing will go to support educational improvements at the Museum, including several updates to the Parkview Wabash Education Center. To register for this event or to learn more about being a sponsor, visit wabashmuseum.org or call Shelby at (260) 563-9070.

The golf outing will serve as the starting point for the annual fundraising campaign which focuses on raising funds to support multiple areas of the Museum’s operations including collection care and storage, artifact preservation, exhibit updates, educational programming, and facility improvements.
