National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands in the country. Americans will celebrate the legacy of public land for healthy exercise, outdoor recreation, ecosystem protection, hunting, and more. State parks, reservoirs, and forest recreation will have free admission. Mississinewa Lake will be participating in this event that will be held on Saturday, September 30th, starting at 9am.
