Mildred V. Albertson, 102, of Fort Wayne, IN, formerly of Montpelier, IN. passed away at 10:45 AM on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Woodview in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on Friday, September 01, 1916, in Tipton County, IN. She married Wayne Adam Albertson on Saturday, December 23, 1939 in Geneva, Indiana. Mildred was a Sharpsville High School graduate. She was a member of the First Baptist church. Montpelier, IN. Mildred retired from the Montpelier Glove Company in 1981 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Psi Ota Xi Sorority, and the Brass Latch Art Club. She moved to Fort Wayne in 2001.
Loving Survivors Include her Son – Robert L. (wife, Doris) Albertson, Fort Wayne, IN, and Grandson – Michael J. Albertson, Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her Husband – Wayne Adam Albertson, Father – Jessie Shields, Mother – Mary (Graf) Shields, Sister – Gretchen Garrett, Sister – Margaret Keller, and Granddaughter – Michella Albertson.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be at the IOOF cemetery, Montpelier, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 with Pastor Jeremy Cowin officiating.
