Michael A. Mitchell, 38, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Wabash passed away at 6:42 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his residence. He was born to Alfred “Al” and Debra (Wohlford) Mitchell on December 22, 1984, in Wabash, Indiana.
Michael was a 2004 graduate of Southwood High School. He worked in Fort Wayne doing asphalt maintenance and construction. Michael enjoyed music and playing the drums. He was very social and always had a smile on his face. Most of all he loved his family.
Michael is survived by his parents, Alfred and Debra Mitchell of Wabash, Indiana; two daughters, Alexis Skye Mitchell and Kaedence Star Mitchell, both of Wabash; two brothers, Matthew Wohlford of San Antonio, Texas, Mason Mitchell of Wabash, Indiana; one sister, Melissa (Mario) Hiesmayr of Plainfield, Illinois.
Per Michael’s wishes there will be no services.
