MIAMI COUNTY, IN- Heidi Wright, Director of Development for the Miami County Community Foundation, presented a check recently to Harvesting Capabilities board members at their monthly meeting.
Harvesting Capabilities is a local nonprofit organization focused on helping people with disabliities and elderly in Miami County by providing aluminum ramps and adaptive medical equipment to those who cannot afford them. They also own and operate a discount medical equipment and thrift store in Peru, which helps fund their many community outreach projects. They are always looking for dedicated volunteers.
