PERU, IN- On Tuesday, October 29th a Meet and Greet the Candidates event will be held at the Peru Ivy Tech campus, located at 425 W. Main Street, from 6-730pm. Peru City Council candidates will be given 3 minutes to introduce themselves and why they are running for office. The City Clerk and Mayoral candidates will follow and be given 5 minutes each to speak. After the introductions the candidates will mingle with the public for one on one discussions and to answer questions. Early voting is underway in the City of Peru and the Municipal Election is November 5th.
