Maschelle E. Downam, 53 of Gas City, died Thursday April 5, 2018 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana
Maschelle was born July 23, 1964 at Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Buddy L. and Judith Wilcoxon Chapman, her mother survives at Marion, IN
She married John W. Downam June 16, 1989 and he survives. She was a graduate of Eastbrook High School, attended Southside Wesleyan Church, Gas City and enjoyed doing crafts and playing video games.
She survived by children John W. Chapman, Gas City, IN Adam Chapman, Ft. Wayne, IN and Ashley Chapman Sands, Marion, IN Grandchildren; Elizabeth, and Matthew Miller, Michael Sands, Nevaeh, Carter, and Cooper Downam. Brother; Jamie Chapman, Marion, IN
She is preceded in death by her father and a brother Kevin Chapman.
Funeral for Maschelle will be at noon Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Southside Wesleyan Church, 312 E. S. “E” St., Gas City, IN with Pastor Brett Miller officiating. Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, IN. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time at Noon.
