Mary Ann Vieau, 63, of Silver Lake, Indiana, died at 8:50 pm, Monday, April 4, 2022, at Parkview Health Randallia in Fort Wayne. She was born on May 7, 1958, in Lakewood, New Jersey, to Walter and Emma (Gant) Newman.
Mary Ann was a homemaker and also worked at the Laundromat on Manchester Ave in Wabash. She married Michael A. Vieau in Poulsbo, Washington on March 13, 2007. Mary Ann was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Wabash. She enjoyed shopping, and knew a great value. Mary Ann was a very social person.
She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Vieau of Silver Lake, mother, Emma Newman of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, five children, Jeannie (James Feeney) Wayland of Roseto, Pennsylvania, Howard (Lisa) Wayland and Ann Marie Wayland, both of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Michael Megill and Melanie (Zakary) Gormanson, both of Bremerton, Washington, 12 grandchildren, Charles Wayland and Jack Feeney, both of Roseto, Sierra Wayland, Hailey Wayland, Kyra Wayland, and Breanna Wayland, all of Stroudsburg, Mia Megill, Madison Megill, and Gabriella Gormanson, all of Bremerton, Genieve Vieau of Puyallup, Washington, and Riker Vieau and Adora Vieau, both of Bremerton. She was preceded in death by her father.
Private Graveside services and burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion. with Pastor Scott Johnston officiating. Friends may call 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash.
