Marvin J. Pottenger, 85, of Denver, Indiana passed away on March 26, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor.
He was born in Miami County on June 28, 1931 to Charles M. and Ada Marie (Clingpeel) Pottenger. He married Barbara Morrison in 1959. She survives.
Marvin served in US Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was also a mold maker and retired from Delco Electronics.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; a son, Greg K. Pottenger of Macy, In; a brother Paul Pottenger of Rochester, In; and a sister Ethel Hyjeck of Vermont. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Vicki Lucy; a brother William “Hooker” Pottenger; sisters Margaret Blackburn and Dorothy Orpurt; and one grandchild.
