Mark K. Brewer, 62, Marion, passed away in his home at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was born in Marion on June 12, 1956, to Ronald “Chuck” Brewer, who survives, and to Anna Belle (Weaver) Brewer, who preceded him in death on April 4, 2013.
Mark graduated from Huntington North High School in 1974, and he married Teresa Warner on October 13, 2003. Most recently, he was employed as a production worker at General Cable. He had previously worked at Sonoco Paper Products and Dana.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, who enjoyed watching them on television as well as attending baseball games. Mark also loved canoeing, spending time with his dog, Max, and sitting by bonfires.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of nearly 19 years, Teresa; children, Amanda (Jason Moeller) Brewer, Austin, Texas, and Derek (Alli Baker) Brewer; step-children, Tanya Graves, Marion, Brian (Kristy) Oyler, Gas City, and Melissa (Darius) Queen, Marion; 11 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Karen (Bryan McDonald) Brewer, Marion; and his special companion, Max, his pitbull.
Also preceding him in death were his father-in-law, Fred Warner, and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. At the family’s request, please come dressed in casual attire.
