Mark Edward “Eddie” Warner

Mark Edward “Eddie” Warner, 63, Laketon, passed away surrounded by his loving daughters on January 28, 2024, at his home. The youngest son of Max E. and Lois June (Ulsh) Warner, Eddie was born on October 10, 1960, in Fort Wayne.
When Eddie was younger, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country with great pride. He received his high school diploma while stationed in Hawaii and later returned home after receiving an honorable discharge. Trustworthy and reliable, he then dedicated many years to working on towers.
Eddie had a strong will, but beneath his sometimes gruff exterior was a huge heart, especially for his daughters and grandchildren. He often did something silly to elicit a laugh from others. Eddie had a determined personality; when he set his mind to something, it got done. He didn’t care about the opinions of others and found peace in music. Remarkably, he remained positive and upbeat while receiving treatments for his health issues.
The loving memory of Mark Edward Warner will be forever cherished by his daughters, Sabrina (Gary) Kirby, Harlan, Startina Warner, Laketon, and Sierra Warner, Peru; brother, Max E. (Julie) Warner Jr., Orland; grandchildren, Alexandra (Anthony) Jenson and Kaleb Myers; great-grandchildren, Alivia Rae and Aidyn Oliver Jensen; and best friend, Theresa York, Fort Wayne. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Samantha “Sammy” Warner, who died when she was one.
