Mark Douglas Fisher

Mark Douglas Fisher, age 35, of Huntington, died at 5:41 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Micah Mobley officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Preferred memorials are to Huntington County Humane Society or American Diabetes Association, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750.

Mark was born on December 25, 1982 in Huntington, the son of Doug and Tina (Laurie) Fisher. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 2001 and worked at Koch Nitrogen Co. in Huntington for ten years. He also worked in security at CF Industries in Huntington. Mark was head coach for the Whitko High School Varsity Baseball Team for six years, and he was a baseball coach for the Summit City Sluggers. He loved baseball, Notre Dame Football, the Chicago Cubs, and Duke Basketball. He especially enjoyed coaching kids.

Surviving in Huntington are his parents, Douglas J. and Tina Fisher, a brother, Luke E. Fisher, and a grandmother, Andrea L. McIntosh. Mark is also survived by Kennedy Mitchem, Shaun Mitchem, and Serenidy Michem. He is preceded in death by grandparents Delos Fisher, Mark McIntosh, Ronald Laurie, and Carol Ann Laurie. He was met at Heaven’s door by his dog, Reggie.
