Mark Anthony Hazlett, 61, of Marion, passed away at 8:10 pm on Monday, June 14, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Services in Indianapolis. He was born in Marion on September 25, 1959, to Charles “Sonny” and Irene (Sullivan) Hazlett.
Mark graduated from Oak Hill High School. He had worked as a roofer in Grant and surrounding counties until his retirement. Mark was an avid New York Yankees fan. He liked watching NASCAR and was a Jeff Gordon fan. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his father. Mark also enjoyed the company of his neighbors in the Candlewood area.
Survivors include a son and a close cousin and friend, Traci Rife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several other family members.
At Mark’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park in Marion at a later date.
