Mrs. Marilyn (Mickey) Cole, 81, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 2:00 AM on Sunday, May 08, 2016 at Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN. She was born on Tuesday, October 09, 1934, in Montague, MI. She married Dillie Cole in Montague, MI. Mickey had lived in Van Buren for over 50 years in the same home. She graduated from Montague High School, Montague, MI. in 1952. She retired in 1986 from the Chronicle Tribune in Marion, IN. Mickey was a great mother and housewife. She married Dillie Cole in Montague, MI. in 1956.
Survivors include: son – James Cole, Van Buren, IN; daughter – Kim Cole, Van Buren, IN; grandsons – Bret Irwin, Van Buren, IN, Austin Cole, Van Buren, IN and Jacob Cole, Van Buren, IN and a brother – Donald (Carolyn) Mahoney, Montague, MI.
She was preceded in death by her: husband – Dillie Cole; parents- Daniel and Irene (Nichols) Mahoney.
There will be no services or visitation and burial will take place at a later date in the Van Buren Cemetery.
