Margaret “Margie” Ann Peters-Gianni, 68, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Community Parkview Care Center in Elwood, Indiana. Her last moments were spent in the warm embrace of Dave Peck, the love of her life. Margie was born on January 11, 1950, to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Wheelen) Peters, in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in Southern California and graduated from Ramona High School in Ramona, California. Margie was living in Arizona until about a year ago, she moved to Elwood, Indiana, to be with Dave and where she lived the remainder of her life. Margie enjoyed exploring Indiana and all that it had to offer. She was in awe of the very first snowfall she had ever seen. She often commented about how she loved the people here because of how nice, caring, accepting and loving Hoosiers were.
Margie is survived by her two daughters, Angela Villela and Darlene Gianni; her only grandson, Thomas Stone; her two brothers, Ron Peters and Bob (Linda) Peters; several nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and her special dog Goldie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Shelly Moody.
Arrangements for Margie have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953.
