Margaret A. Scott, 69, Marion, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Wyndmoor of Marion in Marion. She was born in Kennett, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 13, 1954, to Buell and Leta (Leak) Wilkerson.
Margaret graduated from Mississinewa High School and was an accountant for Marion General Hospital and Parkview in Fort Wayne. Margaret loved spending time with her dog, Cocoa and going shopping. She liked to play cards, especially High-9, with family and friends.
Survivors include her siblings, Orval (Cali) Wilkerson of Albany; sister, Donna Bellus of Gas City, Andy Wilkerson of Gas City; sisters-in-law, Belinda Willkerson of Gas City, Yolanda Wilkerson of TX; brothers-in-law, Dave Southerland of Marion, Mike R. Kegg of Fairmount; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buell and Leta Wilkerson; brothers, Gary Wilkerson, Russ Wilkerson; sisters, Dorothy Southerland, Rosie Kegg; and brother-in-law, John Bellus.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Margaret’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory.
