Luster “Paul” Dehart, 88, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:45 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at McGivney Healthcare in Carmel, Indiana. He was born on February 11, 1935, in Morehead, Kentucky, to Melvin and Hazel (Binion) Dehart.
Paul was a US Air Force veteran. He married Cleta Mae Fields in Wabash on February 15, 1961; she died November 19, 1992. He was a retired truck driver. Paul enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by two children, Bryan Dehart of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Annette Arney of Wabash; three grandchildren, Paulinea Arney of Wabash, Ricky Ozenbaugh of Brazil, Indiana, and Sara (Kyle) Chapman of Layton, Utah; three great grandchildren, Adam Arney and Alexis Arney, both of Wabash, and Leland Boaz of Terre Haute, Indiana; and his brother, Ernest Dehart of Wabash. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 5-7 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
