Louise Golliher Mofield, age 86, of Peru, Indiana died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 22, 1931 in Modoc, Indiana to Herbert and Stella Pierce.
She married Merrill (Jake) Golliher on August 1, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1978. She married Bill Mofield on August 15, 1992. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2003. She was also preceded in death by children Dave Golliher and Brenda Brown, and a stepson Roscoe Mofield.
Louise is survived by her children Ed (Beth) Golliher, Macy, IN; Kathy Boles, Kokomo, IN; Pam (Rodney) Mygrant, Peru, IN; Jim (companion Laura) Golliher, Peru, IN; Judy (Norm) Clark, Fort Wayne, IN; and Ronnie (Susan) Golliher, Peru, IN. Also, stepchildren Bill Mofield Jr., Peru, IN; Ronnie Mofield, Peru, IN; Charlie Mofield, Peru, IN; and Loretta Mofield, Peru, IN. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, special friends Ann Clark, Charlie & Jeanie Hughes, Glenda Mofield, Joy, and neighbor Janet.
Louise worked at Hook’s Pharmacy and retired from CVS. For many years, she was the chaplain at the VFW post in Peru, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Rick Tolley officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
