Lora Fay “Boo” Copley, 78, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 11:45 am, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born May 2, 1942 in Burnwell, West Virginia, to Allen and Rosa Lee (Harless) Copley.
Lora was a 1961 graduate of East Bank High School in East Bank, West Virginia. She retired from Eaton Controls in North Manchester after 45 years. Lora enjoyed mowing her lawn. She loved her family, especially her great niece and great nephews, Evan Jent, Simon Francis, and Ella Jent. Lora was the fun aunt, who had no rules at her house, and always had an endless supply of oatmeal cream pies and ice cream.
She is survived by her three sisters, Cora Lee Hodge of North Manchester, Patricia Christy of Beckley, West Virginia, and her twin sister, Nora Copley of North Manchester, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Earl Dunford, and Martin Copley.
Funeral services will be private at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester, with Barry Francis officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
