Lois E. (Johnson) Pressler, 60 of Huntington passed away at 4:30 am on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her residence. Lois had worked at Square D Corporation for 17 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She competed in the Huntington Rock-A-Thon in 1974; she spent 82 hours rocking in a rocking chair. Lois enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors in nature. She loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandson and spent nearly every day with him.

Lois was born on December 17, 1956 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard and Myra (Robinson) Johnson.

She was united in marriage to Kem Pressler on September 8, 1973 in Huntington, her husband survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter: Amy (Brian) Van Ness of Huntington; a son: Cory Pressler of Huntington; a sister: Brenda (Roger) Emley of Huntington; a brother: Bill (Amy) Johnson of Fort Wayne; a grandson: Brok Van Ness of Huntington; two great grandchildren: Brantley Van Ness and Keeston Van Ness.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Myra Johnson and two sisters: Linda Nunemaker and Glenda Hall.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2:00 pm ā€“ 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm ā€“ 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.
