Linda Faye (Luttrull) Harmon, 59, Marion, passed away at 5:12 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Wednesday, September 6, 1961, to James and June (Simpson) Luttrull, Sr. On June 4, 1983, she married her loving husband, Tim Harmon, and he survives.
Linda graduated from Marion High School in 1980 and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Marion College in 1986. She was the owner of Design Studio 407, member of College Wesleyan Church, and Vice President of S.O.S. (Save Our Stories).
Linda was a very talented artist and supported many local artists. She was a tremendous help in bringing back the revitalization of the downtown Marion atmosphere. Her decorating/remodeling skills were also used when she purchased her family’s home where she grew up and helped in the remodeling and designing of it. Linda loved her family and was very close with all of her nieces, nephews, family, and friends in Indiana and Texas. She loved sitting on the porch with her siblings, as well as connecting with others in her community. Everybody said she had the most beautiful smile and was a positive influence. She loved being chosen as Taylor’s mom and enjoyed her role as “pageant mom”. Linda was a firm believer in Christ, and she loved her best friend and husband, Tim, most of all.
In addition to her husband of 37 years, survivors include her parents; daughter, Taylor Harmon of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Sandra (Jim) Duecker of Marion, Ruth (Larry) Moyer of Marion, and Cheryl (Kenny) Ryan of Marion; and brother, James (Debra) Luttrull, Jr., of Marion.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
A funeral service to celebrate Linda’s life will begin at 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at College Wesleyan Church, 200 E. 38th St., Marion, IN. Pastor Alex Mandura will be officiating with burial following at Marion National Cemetery.
