Lewis A. Walters, 85, of Markle, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in Andrews, IN.
Mr. Walters was born on October 18, 1932, in Huntington, IN, to Lewis and Goldie (Seeley) Walters. His parents preceded him in death. Lewis married June Ida Penrod on July 4, 1976. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2017.
Lewis served in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK.
Lewis is survived by three sons, Michael (Melinda) Walters, Wabash, IN, Mark Walters, Andrews, IN, Kent (Anna) Walters, Huntington, IN; five daughters, Jan (Bill) Loehmer, Bippus, IN, Jody (William) Davies, Andrews, IN, Kelly (Scott) Bressler, Markle, IN, Penny Long, Fort Wayne, IN, Jenny Lynch, Roanoke, IN; two step-sons: Craig Grinder, Fort Smith, AK, Jack Todd, Summerville, SC and four grandchildren.
To honor the wishes of the family there will be no services and a private burial will be at a later date.
