Levina L. Coffelt

Levina L. Coffelt, 80, of Van Buren, passed away at 6:53 am on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in her home. She was born in Marion on October 15, 1940, to Wayne and Wilma (Hartley) Berry. On June 7, 1959, she married Russell Asher Coffelt, and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2009.

Levina graduated from Marion High School. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Van Buren. Levina took pride in caring for her family and tending to her home. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and playing bingo. Levina cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include her daughters, Ronda (Richard) Flemming of Van Buren, Rita Trainer of Huntington, Roberta (Gene) Holcomb of NC, and Rusty (Jason) Bryant of Van Buren; granddaughters, Christina (Eric) Clifton, Rebecca Holcomb, and Twilight (Kody) Mathis; grandsons, Terry (Natasha) Byrd, Corey (Jodi) Byrd, Josh Trainer, Anthony (Hailey) Trainer, Jason Bryant Jr., Dallas Bryant, and Dakota Bryant; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Diana Pressley of OR; brother, Charles Berry of Fort Wayne; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Levina was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Berry, and sister, Barbara A. Grandstaff.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Levina’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tony Miner officiating. Burial will take place at Estates of Serenity Cemetery in Marion.
